During my four-month tenure as the Senior Product Manager at KLEKT, reporting to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), I had the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company’s product development process and improve the user experience for sellers on the online marketplace. My primary mission was to establish a best-in-class product management process and enhance the platform from a seller perspective.

Key Responsibilities & Achievements:

  1. Define User Personas: I undertook the crucial task of defining detailed user personas, gaining insights into the various seller segments using the platform. This allowed us to tailor our product improvements to meet their specific needs and preferences.
  2. Define User Journeys: I mapped out comprehensive user journeys to identify pain points and areas for improvement. This process helped in creating a roadmap that addressed the most critical aspects of the seller experience.
  3. Roadmap Creation: Leveraging the insights from user personas and journeys, I developed a comprehensive 6-month roadmap. This roadmap outlined a clear direction for product development and prioritised features and enhancements that would have the greatest impact on the seller experience.
  4. Product Updates: I actively oversaw and managed the execution of product updates, ensuring they aligned with our roadmap and addressed user needs effectively. This involved collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver on-time and within scope.
  5. Business Cases & Story Creation: I worked on creating compelling business cases and user stories that provided a detailed rationale for each product enhancement. These documents helped secure buy-in from stakeholders and guided the development process.
  6. User Research: I conducted extensive user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing, to gather valuable feedback and insights from our sellers. This research was instrumental in shaping our product strategy and prioritising features based on real user input.


Results Achieved:

  1. Developed a 6-Month Roadmap: I successfully created and executed a 6-month roadmap aimed at enhancing the user experience for sellers on the KLEKT platform. This roadmap provided clear direction for the product team and aligned our efforts with business goals.
  2. Led the Development of Auto-Sale Feature: One of the notable achievements during my tenure was leading the development of the auto-sale feature on the web platform. This innovative feature streamlined the selling process for users, resulting in a significant increase in sales by 25%.
  3. Redesigned KLEKT Mobile App: I spearheaded the redesign of the KLEKT mobile app, focusing on improving usability and aesthetics. This effort resulted in a notable boost in the app store rating, increasing it from 4 to 4.5 stars. The improved app contributed to a better user experience and higher user engagement.

In summary, my role as the Senior Product Manager at KLEKT allowed me to take charge of establishing a robust product management process and driving key product improvements that directly impacted the seller experience. The development of the 6-month roadmap, the successful introduction of the auto-sale feature, and the app redesign were instrumental in achieving our goal of providing a best-in-class platform for our users.
